Asus MeMO Pad 10 ME103K Android Tablet Launched – Price & Specs

The Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company Asus has launched its new tablet called as the MeMO Pad 10 (Me103K) in its budget tablet series. MeMO Pad 10 (Me103K) is the successor to the Memo Pad 10 (Me102K) which was launched last year. Recently Asus has launched the Fonepad 7 tablet with model number FE170CG in India for Rs 8,999. This 7-inch tablet supports voice-calling and runs on the older android version 4.3 Jelly Bean with ZenUI.

The MeMO Pad 10 (Me103K) sports a 10.1″ LED Backlight WXGA display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. ASUS MeMO Pad 10’s display uses in-plane-switching (IPS) technology to deliver 170-degree viewing angles with accurate color reproduction. The tablet is powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 8064 +MDM9215M Quad-Core processor coupled with a 1GB RAM. It runs Android v4.4 KitKat OS, right out of the box. On its camera front, MeMO Pad 10 sports a 2 MP Rear Camera (5 MP camera on selected models) and has a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. The tablet has Dual Speakers with ASUS SonicMaster Technology, which gives better Sound.

The Asus MeMO Pad 10 offers 9Wh Li-Polymer embedded Battery. Various connectivity options have been provided such as WLAN802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0 and Miracast. Miracast lets you stream 720p HD multimedia content from your MeMO Pad 10 to a TV or external display. It comes in 8GB/16GB/32GB internal memory variants. The tablet measures 256 x 174 x 9.9 mm in dimension and weighs 525 grams. The Asus MeMO Pad 10 supports both GPS and GLONASS to give you faster tracking speeds and precise positioning. The tablet comes with Asus ZenUI, which according to Asus improves on your smart device experience. The ZenUI gives user an interface that features over 1000 upgrades and enhancements (as claimed by Asus) over the stock android OS.

The Asus MeMo Pad 10 is priced at $199/€199. Asus MeMO Pad 10 is available in white and black colors. The new tablet is officially introduced in Europe and will start shipping next month. There is no word on the launch in other markets.
