Asus Launches ZenPad 7.0, ZenPad C 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0 tablets with Prices Starting from Rs. 8,999

Asus unveiled the ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0 at the Zenfestival in India back in August. Today, the company has officially launched the Asus ZenPad 7.0, ZenPad 8.0 along with the ZenPad C 7.0 in India. While the ZenPad 7.0 will go on sale today at Asus stores and Flipkart, the other two tablets will go on sale by the end of this month.

The tablet flaunts a 7-inch (1280×800pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and comes powered by 64-bit Intel Atom x3-C3230 quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, and microSD card support for further expansion.

It sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling. It comes with dual sim dual standby support and connectivity options on the device includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 GPS and a microUSB port.

The tablet comes backed by a 3450mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Zen UI out of the box. Its dimensions are 189 x 110.9 x 8.7 mm, weighs 272 grams and it also features DTS audio technology.

The Asus ZenPad 7.0 comes in Obsidian Black and Aurora Metallic colors and is priced at Rs. 11,999. It also comes with audio cover for Rs. 14,999. As said earlier, it will be available for purchase at Asus exclusive stores and on Flipkart starting from today

Asus ZenPad C 7.0

The ZenPad C 7.0 is a slightly downgraded variant of the ZenPad 7.0. It comes with (1024 x 600pixel) display resolution, 5MP rear, and VGA front camera apart from this rest of the specifications are similar to ZenPad 7.0. The Asus ZenPad C 7.0 comes in Obsidian Black, Glamour Red, and Aurora Metallic colors and is also priced slightly on the lower side at Rs. 8,999.

The ZenPad 8.0 is the best among all the three tablets as it comes with a better display, processor, and battery. The tablet features an 8-inch (1280 x 800pixels) HD Fully laminated IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.

It has 16GB of internal storage, sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter for selfie lovers. The connectivity options on the 4G capable tablet include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and a microUSB port. The device also comes with a microSD card support for the expansion of memory.

It comes backed by a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop-based ZenUI out of the box. Its dimensions are 209 x 123 x 8.5 mm, weighs 350 grams and will also feature DTS audio technology. The ZenPad 8.0 comes in color Obsidian Black and Aurora Metallic and is priced at Rs. 14,999. Like Asus ZenPad 7.0 it also comes with audio cover for Rs. 17,999.
