There’s always a change in the crown wearer when you talk of the thinnest smartphones, the lightest smartphones and such but the recent one for being the thinnest of all is the BBK Vivo X3T, which is going to be just 5.75mm in thickness beating all others for now. Having got the Certification from China, this is for now the thinnest smartphone in the world and the Vivo X3T is soon entering the Chinese market.
A couple earlier competitors for this category were the Oppo Finder which had a thickness of 6.65mm, while the Huawei P6 broke the shackles then to be slimmer with the thickness of 6.18mm. Now with the X3T coming into the scene, these two devices too would be looking quite thick. The device is going to have a 5-inch display with the Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels, and internally it’s going to be powered by the quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589T processor.
Multitasking is supported by 1 GB of RAM, and to make the capturing better, the 8 megapixel lens on the rear side is going to get a good partner on the front with a 5-megapixel shooter. We got the information that China Mobile would be the carrier launching the device in the market on August 22nd and it would be coming with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The dimensions of 143.27mm x 71.03mm x 5.75mm would be the best part of the device, but the weight is no less with 150gm not looking any good for that thickness of the device, which might have been contributed by the metal parts. We may soon see some other device claiming the title, but for now, the Vivo X3T can grab the sales with the crown.
Do check out on 22nd August when we would be getting some official details about the launch, and with this being limited to China, the International users might not be lucky to have the Vivo X3T as it’s a carrier-limited launch to happen.
