Bell & SaskTel Releases Android 4.0 ICS Update to Galaxy S II HD LTE

Here we head to the news updates from Canadian low cost carriers as the less known telecom operator called Bell & SaskTel is rolling out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. Apart from this good news, there is one bad news also that HTC Incredible S on Bell Canada will not be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. Both Sasktel and Bell are the low cost telecom operator. Users bearing the model number as SGH I757M can proceed with the updates based on the base band version named I757MUGLH2 with build number IMM76D.GLH2.

This update is been pushed to the users via Over the Air update and you might have received the update notification on your smart phone about this updates as delivered by Bell. Alternatively if you haven’t received this update on your mobile phone then you need to go through Settings > About Phone > Software update and then tap on Check Now to check surprise news waiting for you. Before you proceed with this update you should backup your device so to ensure that you have a backup created which can come handy if you loose data. Also ensure that you update your device while you are connected to nearby Wi Fi signal but not on your mobile data package.
