Bluboo is a small China-based smartphone manufacturer and is known for making affordable devices. The company recently announced the successor of the earlier launched Xfire called as Xfire Pro. The Xfire Pro comes with high-end specs and is also priced aggressively at $169.99 to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Mi4c and OnePlus 2 in the Chinese market. Like other Chinese smartphone manufacturers, Bluboo is also set to enter the highly emerging Indian smartphone market. The company might sell the smartphones in India in partnership with Aircel, India’s fourth largest telecom partner.
The Bluboo’s 2015 flagship ‘Xtouch‘ will be the first smartphone to launch in India by the company. The Xtouch sports premium looks with metallic frame surrounded by the device and also sports a 3D glass with printed triangular patterns on the back.
Talking about its specifications, Bluboo Xtouch flaunts a 5-inch FHD (1920 × 1080pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on top of it. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
On the camera cordon, The device sports a 13MP SONY IMX214 rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for video calling and selfie lovers. The device supports 4G-LTE connectivity and comes with basic connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB port.
The device also features a fingerprint scanner for security embedded in the physical Home Button on the front. The handset comes backed by a 3050mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the handset measure 153.0 x 71.0 x 8.0 mm weighs 160 grams, and the Xtouch is expected to be priced around Rs. 14,999 in India.
