How to: Capture Screenshot in Samsung Galaxy Camera – Tutorial

Galaxy Camera ScreenshotThe Samsung Galaxy Camera is no smartphone to have all those keys that can help capture a screenshot easily, and this feature in the Android Ice Cream Sandwich and the later versions was available in most of the devices because of the shortcuts available as physical keys. The Galaxy Camera being powered by the Android OS, would have any number of apps which can help in most of the productivity apart from capturing pictures and playing around with them. One of these applications can assist in capturing the screenshots of the Galaxy Camera.

The app which would work the best for the screenshot capturing is the “No Root Screenshot It” app. The main advantage of it is that the app would allow you a few seconds before capturing a screenshot after you prompt for it, and thus you can reach to the exact screen which you wanted to capture.
It is a paid application but the best one when you wanted to have an option of capturing the screen without hitting a button as there are no such keys available in the camera. You would just need to set a time frame, click on Capture Screenshot and then go to the particular screen within that time frame and stay there and the app would do the capturing.

Purchase the app from the Play Store, and then head to this website to download the desktop assistant for the same which is not always required:

Note: For most of the users, the drivers for the Samsung devices and the Galaxy Camera might not have been pre-installed, and you would need to install those drivers first, in order to make the device recognized by your PC for enabling the screenshot capture in that device. You would need to visit this page to install the OEM USB Drivers.

Once you install the Screenshot It enabler in your PC, and purchased the No Root Screenshot It app in your Galaxy Camera, you need to open the enabler software in your PC. You need to restart your Galaxy Camera before you open the Screenshot It Enabler in the PC.

Once done, you can capture screenshots in the Galaxy Camera using the app. There are several options in the app, and the one which would be helpful for you is the Screenshot Delay option that would let you navigate to the exact location which you want to capture.
Here are a few settings of the App that you can change, but there is no shortcut you can use for capturing, and the option that is possible in the Galaxy Camera is only the Delay option.

The delay can be anywhere between zero to 30 seconds, and you can choose one based on your speed of usage, and if you can navigate to the exact location quickly, then selecting the shorter delay time is a good option.
The app within itself has got the option to capture screenshot, or else there’s another way too. A shortcut option can be set in the notification panel too, which stays there until you don’t remove it from the settings. Just pull down the panel, select the option and the panel would pull itself up, exposing the app which you were currently on, and would capture the screenshot.

The captured screenshots are saved in a separate folder, and the gallery app too won’t include the screenshots along with the pictures that are captured using the Galaxy Camera.

This tutorial won’t require you to root the Galaxy Camera or do anything else, but the simple installation and purchase is needed, and whenever you restart the Galaxy Camera, the Screenshot function gets disabled and you would need to Re-enable it by going through the same initial process of Screenshot It Enabler.
