How To Change the Softkeys on the LG G4: Guide

Like the G3, the LG G4 also offers an excellent feature that lets the users customize the soft keys. And Instead of having a fixed style of soft keys, you can try a few different colours, styles, as well as adjust the button layout and combination accordingly.You can also add more soft key style to LG G4 and switch between them.

Steps to Change the Softkeys on the LG G4

  1. Launch your LG G4’s Apps list.

  2. Then go to the Settings.

  3. Select Display.

  4. Select Home touch buttons.

In the Home Touch Menu, you will get three options: Button Combination, Colour and Hide options.

The button combination menu lets you rearrange the default back, home and task-switching keys — back, home, — and add up to two more from the following:

Notification Pulls down (or rolls up) the notification shade, useful if you want to avoid reaching the top of the screen to see your notifications.

QuickMemo+: It allows to take a screenshot of the current app and allowing you to add notes to it.

Dual window: This button brings up the interface for Dual window, allowing you to drag supported apps to the top or bottom portions of the screen.

You can hide the home touch buttons in certain apps using the “Hide Home Touch Buttons.” option.There is a one more option to select the colour of softkeys.
