Cherry Mobile a Filipino mobile phone and electronics company is all set to launch a new smartphone dubbed as Cubix Cube 2. The Cubix Cube 2 is priced at Php 4,999 and will be exclusively available for sale via Lazada during its Online Revolution Sale to be held on November 11.
The Cubix Cube 2 is the successor of the Cubix cube smartphone that launched earlier this year and is an upgrade in every aspect. The smartphone features a phablet-sized 5.7-inch OGS IPS display and comes powered by unspecified Octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The device has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with microSD card slot support for further expansion.
On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing shooter for video calling and selfie clicks. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
The handset comes backed by a 3500mAh battery that can last for complete one day on mixed usage. The dimensions of the smartphone measure and weighs around 170 grams. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will be available in two colors- Black and White. Considering the specifications of the Cubix Cube 2, it seems like a powerful smartphone and will be a decent buy at the sub Php 5K range.
