The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Coolpad has released few impressive smartphones in the last couple of months all at affordable prices. The brand has recently launched budget-friendly Coolpad Note 3 Lite with 3GB RAM & fingerprint sensor in India at Rs. 6,999. Now, the company is all set to launch yet another entry-level smartphone with decent specifications called as Coolpad Fancy in Vietnam.
Talking about the specifications, the Coolpad Fancy flaunts a 4.7-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display with 312ppi as pixel density, 2.5D arc glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it comes powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU for smooth performance of the device. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Cool UI laid on top out of the box.
On the photographic section, the smartphone sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie lovers. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. The smartphone features an interesting Cool Key function placed below the camera at the back of the unit that allows us to open various assigned apps quickly. It is worth noting that it shouldn’t be mistaken as a fingerprint sensor. The device also includes an IR Blaster that allows the users to control the home appliances like TV, AC, Refrigerators and many more remotely.
The smartphone has 2GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and can be further expanded to 32GB via microSD card slot. The handset comes backed by an 1800mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 7 hours of talk time and upto 200 hours of standby time. The device features polycarbonate plastic build and is very slim measuring just 7.9mm and will be available in Black and White color options. A quick recall, Coolpad has recently launched two new smartphones called as Coolpad Torino S and Coolpad Porto S in European markets priced at EUR 199 (approx $217) & EUR 129 (approx $140) respectively. Both the smartphones support 4G-LTE connectivity and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The Torino S features 4.7-inch HD display, Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP main camera, fingerprint sensor and 1800mAh battery. On the other hand, the Porto S features 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735 SoC, 1GB RAM, hybrid sim slot, 8MP camera and 2000mAh battery.
