Cubot S600 with 5″ HD Display & Fingerprint Sensor Launched at $130

The little-known smartphone manufacturer, Cubot has been launching impressive handsets in the affordable segment to make a mark in the over-crowded Chinese smartphone market. Now, the company has launched yet another budget device with impressive specifications called as Cubot S600 in China. The smartphone is available for purchase exclusively online and is priced aggressively at $129.99.

Talking about the specifications, the Cubot S600 comes with a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display offering 294ppi as pixel density and 2.5D arc glass on top of it. Under the hood, it packs MediaTek MT6735A quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI out of the box.

On the camera cordon, the smartphone features a 16MP autofocus primary camera with Samsung sensor, F/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash and an 8MP front-facing snapper for video chats and crazy selfie lovers. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.

The device looks stylish with a metal frame around the sides and also includes a fingerprint sensor placed on the back for enhanced security. The handset packs a 2700mAh battery that has the energy to last for an entire day on single charge. The dimensions of the smartphone 146.5 x 71.3 x 7.5 mm and comes in Black, White and Gold color variants.

A quick recall, Cubot has recently launched a smartphone with a beautiful design called as Cubot S550 priced at $170. The smartphone feels premium in hand as it sports glossy back panel and metal frame around the sides. The S550 features 5.5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735 quad-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, 13MP main camera, 8MPfront shooter, 4G-LTE connectivity and 3000mAh battery. The device sports a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear side and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
