The Samsung Galaxy Nexus during the month of November 2011 has been launched in various countries of Europe through scheduled launch dates. This superphone is yet to be launched in various other countries and still the date of arrivals is not known.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is already available in Australia through Kogan at $ 799 from 9 December 2011 a week later from its actual arrival on November 30, 2011 as spotted it earlier. Kogan were accepting pre order booking for this device since few weeks and this will face competition from Telstra network.
Telstra Australia will be coming with a new variant of Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250 phone in the form Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250T where T denotes the initials of Telstra. The device has passed through FCC certifications early this December and soon it will be launched in Australia with plans. However, Telstra Australia was unavailable to comment on when this device would be available and no information on the price is also available.
Going through the specifications of Galaxy Nexus it will introduce the much awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system along with likes of 4.65 inches Super AMOLED Plus display which delivers a magnificent display with full HD. It’s powered with dual core Cortex A9 processor providing you the high speed multi-tasking for quick web browsing and faster operation. Added 5 mega pixel camera at rear is for panoramic picture capture and includes front facing camera too. What I loved about Galaxy Nexus is that its ability to unlock screen with your face facing the front camera. The features like Wi-Fi direct, NFC technology and Android beam all are added to this Google phone.
