Procedure to Root & Install Clock Work mod Recovery in Galaxy Tab 2 P3110:
- Download CWM Recovery Image, Rooting Package and Odin in your computer. Once downloaded, connect your Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 to the computer and place the “cwm-root-gtab2.zip” package in your device’s internal memory.
- Disconnect the device connected an turn off the Galaxy Tab P3110 so that it can be entered in the Download Mode. The download Mode in Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + Power button and then when you see the Yellow triangle, press the Volume Down key to enter the Tab 2 P3110 in the download mode. (Note that the Volume Down is the left rocker key while the Volume Up button is the right rocker key).
- Once the device boots up in the download mode, connect your device to the computer while keeping Odin opened in the computer.
- After connecting the device to the computer, the ID : COM section will turn Yellow which will mean that you are now ready to click on “PDA” to select “”. Once selected the file, just click on “Start” to start the process of clock work mod recovery installation.
- Once the device is updated with the CWM, it will be rebooting. Disconnect the device and turn off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode in Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 can be entered by pressing the Volume down rocker key + power button at the same time while the device is turned Off. If the device starts in the normal mode, you need to re try the process of the entering the device into the recovery mode.
- Now in recovery mode , select “install zip from sdcard” > “choose zip from sdcard” > select “cwm-root-gtab2.zip” which you placed in your device’s internal memory. Select on “Yes” to confirm the same. As soon as it’s done, just select “reboot system now”.
- Up next last but not the least download and install the latest Super user app from Google’s PLAY Store.
Tip: Just in a rare case due to some reasons if the process of rooting gets stuck in the middle or the device gets into the boot loop mode, then you need to apply the update again by following the steps again from the start. Don’t forget to restore the backup which you have taken in the initial steps.
