Procedure to Update Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 with AOKP based ICS Custom ROM firmware:
- Download the AOKP Custom ROM Firmware & Google Apps in your computer. Connect your device to the computer with the help of USB cable and place these two downloaded files in your device. Up next you will have to disconnect the connected Galaxy Tab and turn Off the device so that it can be then entered in the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode in Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 can be entered by pressing the Volume down rocker key + power button at the same time while the device is turned Off. If the device starts in the normal mode, you need to re try the process of the entering the device into the recovery mode.
- Now in recovery mode , select “install zip from sdcard” > “choose zip from sdcard” > select “aokp-gt3113-b35-gs.zip” and “gs-gapps-v3.zip” which you placed in your device’s internal memory. Select on “Yes” to confirm the same. As soon as both the files are selected and updated successfully, select “reboot system now” option in the recovery mode.
