Ultra-thin Galaxy Tab S2 Android tablets announced, starting from $399 – Details

Galaxy Tab S2 Android tablet is the latest shot from Samsung in tablet space to keep itself alive in the tablet segment. If you could just remember, Samsung had earlier announced the ultra-thin Galaxy Tab S2 tablet series back in mid-July 2015 but hasn’t shared the specs in detail. Now, Samsung has announced this tablet which comes with the cheaper price along with one having 8 inches of screen size and another with 9.7 inches.


Specs and Features:
8 inched tablet comes with the 32GB of internal storage option along with WIFI only model while the 9.7 inches of screen size variant of Galaxy Tab S2 comes with slightly higher price than 8 inches one. These tablet are also available with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon which are LTE variants. Both, 9.7 inched one and 8 inched version comes with the Super AMOLED screen having a resolution of 1536 by 2048 pixels at a 4:3 aspect ratio along with octa core processors clocked at 1.3GHz processor along with Exynos 5433 chipset. Other list of specs include 32/64GB of internal memory along with 3GB of RAM along with the external sd card slot. In terms of camera this device also comes with 8MP/ 5MP of rear and front facing camera. These both tablet comes with the Android 5.0 OS and will also get the Android’s latest Marshmallow OS.

Price and Availability:
8 inched Galaxy Tab S2 is priced at $399 while 9.7 inched Galaxy Tab S2 is priced at $499 and is launched for pre order in US starting today.
