Gionee Elife E7 mini was announced last year in the month of December alongside its sibling Elife E7, but was made available earlier this year. Gionee is officially releasing the KitKat update to this device that came out of the box with Android 4.2.2. As all the devices from Gionee, even the E7 mini has the company’s own Amigo UI on top. This is a 4.7 inch device with 720p resolutions and is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. This is a dual SIM variant and has a 2200 mAh battery on the back. Notable thing here is its swirl 13 MP camera that can be used both the front as well as rear camera.
Many have been waiting for this KitKat update on their device and Gionee is rolling it out. Here are all the change logs that you will be getting with the update.
Note: We got information from Gionee India team that this won’t be an OTA update, and we will be sharing the complete procedure to update it manually, or you can go to a Gionee service center to get the phone updated.
