Even though Gionee did not reveal any details regarding the new smartphone, the rumors suggest that the Elife S6 features a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display and comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Amigo 3.1 UI out of the box.

The smartphone will sport a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 5MP front shooter for video calling and selfie clicks. On the connectivity front, the handset supports 4G-LTE connectivity and other basic connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a microUSB port.
