Gionee is known to come up with some amazing slim smartphones. It recently launched the Elife S7 smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2015. The Elife S7 is one of the thinnest smartphones available on the market at 5.5mm. The new Gionee device is power packed with amazing features.

Hardware
Gionee Elife S7 has a 5.2-inch 1080p Samsung Super AMOLED display. It measures 5.5mm thick and have Gorilla Glass 3 protection on both the sides of the phone. The Elife S7 features iconic frame design, merging a high glossy finish and metal effect with two parallel metal light lines. The metal used in S7 is aviation level aluminum-magnesium alloy, making it durable.
It is powered by MediaTek MT6752, an octa-core, 64-bit 1.7GHz processor with 2GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 595 density 2700 mAh battery. S7 features a unique extreme mode, which automatically enables 10% of remaining battery power to potentially last for 33 hours 45 minutes standby time by freezing functions except calling and text messages to ensure basic communications.
In terms of connectivity, the Elife S7 will come with 2G/3G/4G LTE, Wi-fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. The S7 also include a Hi-Fi level headphone and offer superior sound quality with an instinctive Hi-Fi standard sound system that features sound restorations.
Software
S7 is the first Gionee smartphone to come with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and have Gionee’s Amigo 3.0 skin on top.
Camera
On the camera front, it has a 13MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and 8MP front facing camera. Gionee’s own ‘Image+’ image processing system enables users to capture 6 pictures in a second and compose them into 1 picture by adjusting the brightness and image noise.
S7 can capture a picture with only 500 milliseconds, and its focus time is only 300 milliseconds. The S7’s 8MP front camera incorporates intelligent Face beauty 3.0 technology — the device can estimate peoples’ gender and age, and recommend the best over the face beauty effects for more natural selfie photos.
Price and Avaibility
India
Gionee launched the Elife S7 on April 4 in India at a price of Rs 24,999.
Europe
The Elife S7 will sell in Europe through Kazam and Allview and will cost €399 ($445).
China
The Gionee Elife S7 launched in Macau on March 18th. It has been priced at 2499 Yuan.
