Today, Gionee has silently launched three new smartphones called as Gionee F100, Gionee F103B and Gionee S5 in China. The Gionee F100 & F103B are the entry-level devices and comes with all the necessary specifications while the Gionee S5 is the mid-range smartphone and comes with more than decent features. All the smartphones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Amigo 3.1 UI out of the box. The low-end Gionee F100 is priced at 599 Yuan (approx $92), F103B costs 799 Yuan (approx $123), and the Gionee S5 is priced at 1699 Yuan (approx $260). Gionee F100

The Gionee F100 flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. It supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. It has 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. The handset comes backed by a 2400mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 18.18 hours of talk time and upto 279 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 143.7 x 70.5 x 8.1 mm weighs around 151 grams and comes in Gold and Silver color options.
Gionee F103B

The Gionee F103B is the slightly upgraded variant of the F100. The device comes with 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved display that offers a pixel density of 294ppi. The smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP primary camera with PDAF, LED flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera for stunning selfie images. Apart from this, the other features of the F103B are exactly similar to the F100. The dimensions of the handset measure 145.3 x 70.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 143 grams.
Gionee S5

The Gionee S5 is the most expensive among all the devices and comes with decent mid-range specifications. The smartphone flaunts a 5.3-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved display with 277ppi and Gorilla Glass laid on top for protection. The device comes with an all-metal unibody design and includes a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit that unlocks the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds. It comes equipped with MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It features hybrid sim slot that lets you use as a microSD card slot instead of the second sim.
The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with Image+ technology for video chats and selfie lovers.
