According to a latest report, Gionee is set to release Lollipop based Amigo OS 3.0 based at MWC. The Amigo is Gionee’s home grown OS, which has a totally different look when compared to the stock Android. It is heavily customized with icons, settings, lock screen, notifications, etc.
Gionee will also unveil their latest smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2015. The company has officially confirmed that the device named Elife S7 will be launched at MWC and the product launch will be held at Theatre D of Hall 8 on March 2, 2015.
Last week, Gionee India had pushed OTA update for the Gionee Marathon M3 and Pioneer P6 smartphones. The new version of the update for P6 has fixed the green shade and hanging issue while using WhatsApp. It also gets notification management system, new lock screen widget for privacy issues and more. The Marathon M3 update adds the new theme, fonts, updated music player and more.
