Update: The Nexus 6 initially had the tap-to-wake feature, but Google has disabled the double-tap-to-wake feature before launching the Nexus 6. The fact that double-tap-to-wake is been disabled was uncovered in a code commit that was published on Google’s website. The Nexus 9 do come with double-tap to wake feature.
While there’s no official word on why Google removed the feature, there is speculation that this may have something to do with the fact that the Nexus 6 comes with an “Ambient Display” – the equivalent of Motorola Moto X’s active display. Ambient Display is listed in the Android 5.0 display settings menu as a feature that can “wake screen when device picked up or notifications arrive.”

Google has announced the prices of its latest Nexus Smartphone, the Nexus 6 for the Indian market. The company has officially put the phone on the Google Play store with a ‘coming soon’ tag and has taken the curtains off on the prices.
The 32GB model of the handset has been priced at Rs 44,000, and the 64GB model has been listed at Rs 49,000. Both the Black and White coloured models have been put on the store.
Two days back Flipkart, too listed the handset as coming soon. At this store, the prices that were mentioned were INR 44,000 for the 32GB model with black colour. Google is bringing the new Nexus 6 smartphone to 12 more countries. According to the Google Support Page, the new Nexus 6 is now making its way to Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom.
