Google press invite

While Google hasn’t revealed anything about the details on which the event is all about, it’s rumored very strongly that Google is supposed to spell out more on Google’s Android One Project.

What is Android One?
For all those who wanted to know on what is Android One Project, it’s basically an initiative by Google under which manufacturers can join Google for launching the smartphones which cost less than $100. Companies like Karbonn, Micromax and Spice mobiles have already joined hands with Google to do the same. Google unveiled “Android One” project plans in the Google I/O 2014 developer event which happened couple of months back.

With the likes of XiaoMi already punching the market with the smartphones which are not just feature rich but also costs around $100, it’s a real win win situation for a consumer. At the end of the day, consumer will get more value for his penny spent on buying the smartphones. Micromax too is expected to launch few smartphones along with Spice and Karbonn. The probable reason on why these companies are not launching a counter smartphone for Redmi 1S may be this Android One announcement from Google which is being planned on September, 15th.

The best part is that Google SVP for Android, Chrome is also expected to be available in this event on September, 15th. We will be getting more information about the probable highlights of this event as we go closer to 15th Sep. Stay tuned to android advices for more info about this event.
