Google’s Upcoming Pixel 3a & Pixel 3a XL Press Render Leaks, Confirmed to launch on May 7th

Google was expected to launch its upcoming Pixel 3a & Pixel 3a XL at a launch event scheduled on May 7th in Mountain View, California. Now the latest leaked press renders of the same confirms the launch date as 7th of May and as per the earlier CAD renders and hands-on images of the Pixel 3a smartphone it is expected to come with 18:9 display with bezels on top and bottom.

These rumored Pixel 3a and 3a XL are going to be affordable pixel devices and the tech giant is going to bring back the 3.5mm audio jack on to these handsets. From the leaked press renders, we can clearly see that there are volume rockers along with the power button on the right of the devices and a cut out on the top as well as the bottom, one of it is a charging port and another is an audio jack.

Both the handsets will be coming with Active Edge feature and according to the earlier leaks, the Pixel 3a will be featuring a 5.6-inch Full HD+ (2220×1080 pixels) AMOLED display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset. The bigger Pixel 3a XL will be having a 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC.

Both the smartphone will be coming into the market with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and we might also see other storage options also. These devices could get a single 12.2 MP main camera sensor on the front while on the front there should be an 8MP selfie camera. Both the handsets are expected to come with many camera features and will be running on the latest Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box.

Furthermore, these handsets will be in the first list to receive the major Android updates for at least the next couple of years. According to the leaks, the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a XL could cost CAD 650 (approx USD 490) and CAD 800 (approx USD 600) respectively in Canada.
