The tag Goo seems to have coming up recently whenever there is a mention about the big brand Apple and it’s latest devices. Earlier it was the GooPhone which came into the scene when Apple launched the iPhone 5 and it came with the stunning pricing, and one of the biggest difference being the Android OS. Now it’s time for the GooPad Mini to come into the market, though we have got no confirmation whether this is a real news or a hoax. “Every inch a GooPad mini,” is what is tagged there and what is more attractive is the price of $99, and the launch date is somewhere in November.
The GooPad Mini would be coming in with the Android Jelly Bean operating system, and the interface would be powered with a launch screen which looks totally similar to the iOS. The launch screen is the iLaunch theme in the Android OS. Although the device looks totally similar to the iPad Mini, it won’t hold the similar external specifications. The GooPad Mini still seems to have a 7.9-inch display and dual cameras, along with the support to Wi-Fi, and there won’t be any SIM version for the same.
Though no iOS fan would want to have hands on this device, the Android tablets would get a fierce competition when the pricing is taken as a factor, as the GooPad Mini has got a two-figure pricing, and there are many tablet devices which all exceed more than $200 in pricing for the standard Wi-Fi version.
Apple lately had won a case against Samsung for copying the design of the iPhone, it was also known that the Chinese manufacturer of GooPhone is ready to sue Apple for copying the design of the phone, because the phone was launched much before the launch of iPhone 5. Keeping the cases and lawsuits aside, we are finally going to see a cheaper Android tablet option against the iOS powered iPad.
