Procedure to Update Hero Tab with Gingerbread 2.3.5:
- Assuming that you have downloaded the firmware zip file, you need to now extract the same as shown in the below screen capture.
- After extraction of files, you need to turn Off the phone so that you can then enter the device into the recovery mode. To enter the same, you need to “hold on the “Return Button” and press the Power button simultaneously so as to power ON the device”.
- Now, all you need to do is to connect the T9 Tablet to the computer with the help of the USB cable which may remind you to install the usb drivers or else you can also install these manually.
- So, assuming that all the drivers are installed you now need to double click on the “update.bat” file from the extracted files and after which the firmware update process will be started.
- Once the firmware update is successfully updated, the device will be restarted automatically.
Note: ensure that the APN Settings are restored successfully or else you will not be able to access the internet as well as the 3G.
