Honor 4A with 2GB RAM, 8MP Rear Camera, Android 5.1 Launched in China for $98

Huawei has launched a new low-cost smartphone ‘Honor 4A‘ in China. This entry-level smartphone comes with decent specs and affordable price of CNY599 (approx Rs.6,100) for 3G variant and CNY699(approx Rs 7,200) for 4G LTE variant. We have seen few decent smartphones like Coolpad Dazen 1 and Xiaomi Redmi 2 which offers better specifications even at such low costs.

Coming to the Honor 4A, It comes with a 5-inch HD(1280×720) display with the pixels density of 294ppi. It runs on Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with Adreno 304 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage along with MicroSD card support(up to 128GB). It comes with a 2,200mAh battery capacity that lasts for about 300 hours on standby and gives 10hours of talk time.

The rear camera is of 8MP with F2.0 aperture and LED flash, and a 2MP front camera with ultra-wide Selfie feature which make selfie lovers feel happy. Both the 3G and 4G variants come with dual SIM dual standby support. It comes with other basic connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPA/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0. The dimensions of the device are 143.5 x 72.1 x 8.5mm and weighs 155grams. The device comes with latest Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1.

The device would be available in two colors, i.e., Black and White, and will be on sale starting from July 28. There is no information about the launch of this device outside of China, Since the Honor 4X and Honor 4C are launched in India we can also expect this device to be launched sometime soon in India.
