How To Update Samsung Galaxy mini S 5570 to Gingerbread 2.3.3 Firmware

Procedure to update Galaxy mini S 5570 to Gingerbread 2.3.3:

  • First of all you will have to download the Gingerbread 2.3.3 update package for the Samsung Galaxy mini in your computer and after downloading the same you will have to proceed and unzip the same and in the process of unzipping it may ask you to enter in the password, at this point of time you will have to enter the password as androidadvices.com.

  • As soon as you unzip the same, you will have to ensure that all the files which are shown above are present in the unzipped folder and also it’s recommended to unzip the files on the desktop so that you can easily find all the files.

  • Now, just open the “Odin Multi uploader” file from the extracted folder and then you will have to now turn the phone Off as you will have to turn your phone ON in the download mode.

  • To enter download mode, you will have to hold the Volume Down button + the Home key button (the middle button) and while holding these both buttons, you need to Power ON your device. Now, if you have successfully entered into the download mode then you will see a green screen which is shown below. Please note that if the device boots in the normal mode with the home screen then retry the process till the phone gets into the download mode which is very important thing before proceeding and also most importantly this mode acts as a safe mode and prevents the phone to brick.

  • Now, after you get into the download mode, you will have to connect the Galaxy mini S 5570 to the computer with the help of USB cable while Odin opened in the desktop. As soon as you connect the phone, you will see that first ID:COM box as shown below will turn yellow and in the message box you will see that it will show ADDED as shown in the below snapshot and after that you will have to add the files respectively as shown in the below snapshot as mentioned below or else there is a high probability that you may end up bricking the phone.

  • After you select the files as shown in the below screen shot, you will have to double check the same and then you will have to proceed and click on the “Start” option to start the firmware update process. After clicking on the start, you will see that the firmware will be installed in your phone within a time of not more than 5 to 10 minutes.
