HP had recently announced four new Android tablets but had never officially launched them, but now they have silently listed these tablet devices on their official websites, and one of the very simple and budget devices in the list is the HP Slate7 Plus, a 7-inch Android tablet that comes with a budget pricing of $149.99, and it has got a HD display with the Tegra 3 chipset. The other one launched with the same screen size, is the HP Slate7 Extreme.
The Slate7 Plus comes with the screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, which is pretty neat for a 7-inch display and it’s a multitouch support one with the wide angle viewing. The internal powering provided in the Slate7 Plus is by the NVIDIA Tegra 3 A9 Quad-core chipset which is supported by 1GB DDR3 RAM. There are two cameras, and the rear one is a 5-megapixel shooter while the front one is a VGA camera for the video calling. The rear camera can capture videos of 720p HD resolution. The internal storage provided is 8GB and the user can expand that to 32GB with the help of MicroSD card.

- Box: Free lifetime cloud storage of 25GB from Box, where the files can be stored online and accessed from anywhere.

- HP ePrint: Printing virtually from anywhere through the wireless connectivity with the HP printers
The connectivity is limited to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and the battery capacity is 4000 mAh. The tablet comes with a lot of pre-loaded applications such as Gmail; Google Maps; Google Search; Google Talk; Google+; HP Connected Photo; HP ePrint; HP File Manager; Kingsoft Office; Play Store; Skype; Widevine; YouTube; TegraZone.
The pricing of $149.99 does look very apt for the features, specs packed into it. It runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. For now the HP Slate7 Plus is listed only on the official HP store, but we expect to see this in the other online and offline stores as well very soon.
