Procedure to Update HTC Droid Incredible with Ice Cream Senseless Custom ROM:
- Download Ice cream senseless Custom ROM firmware Zip package in your compute and then connect your phone to the computer with the help of the USB cable to copy this downloaded zip file in your phone. Ensure that you are not placing this zip deep into your phone.
- Now, remove the connected USB cable and enable the USB Debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging” after which turn off your phone so as to enter the phone in the recovery mode.
- The Boot loader mode in Droid Incredible can be entered by pressing Volume UP Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. Please note that just in case if the device boots up in the normal mode, you need to again try entering into the boot loader mode.
- After entering into the boot loader mode, you need to select the option “Recovery” to enter the device in the recovery mode. Now, in the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the Ice Cream Senseless Zip file which you have placed in your phone followed by which you need to select the Zip file of Google Apps which you have placed.
- Once the firmware is updated successfully, the device will be rebooted or will land up in the recovery screen. In recovery mode screen, you need to select “++++ Go Back ++++” and select “reboot system now” for rebooting the phone.
- Once the phone is successfully updated, you now need to Download Email.apk from here to your computer and then copy the same to your droid incredible to copy and install the same by opening this APK File in your phone. Since the default email.apk file in tis is buggy, we are providing with this all new apk file for the email. This will also sort out the Force close issue in your email which was an issue in the stock release.
