There is no end to a specification and features of a perfect smartphones. Every time we write, accordingly technology evolves. Until now we thought that having a smartphone with dual core 1.5 GHz is the highest among the processor for mobiles that we can have. Yes, it is currently trending the market but the next year we would be seeing quadra core processor and we have the news that HTC would be the first in line to bring such technology. Though everyone is gearing for the first device to get quadra core processor, among the prime contenders who have announced are Samsung and HTC.
Last we had a look at HTC Rezound with 8 mega pixel camera and Beats audio enhancement, the upcoming phone from HTC and though that it could be the most talked device for Quarter 1 2012 but as the announcement for EDGE phone from HTC came in. The HTC Edge power packs one of the best and never seen before specifications.
To start with, HTC Edge would be powered with NVIDIA quadra core processor and will have 4.7 inches capacitive touchscreen display. The consumers have got enough hang on large screen display devices with Galaxy Note at 5.3 inches, Galaxy S II Skyrocket at 4.6 inches display and Galaxy S II at 4.3 inches. The good thing is that all these specifications would be power packed in just 10mm thin device. It will provide a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and equipped with back-illuminated CMOS camera. It includes 1 GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility and importantly it will be powered with Android OS. We are not sure whether it will have the Android 2.3 or Android 4.0 but we expect that this quadra core phone will be power packed with Ice Cream Sandwich which would be a perfect match in accordance with the phone’s specifications.
The NVIDIA last week showed the demo of the new Tegra 3 processor which is twice as fast as it predecessor Tegra 2 processor and runs faster than the Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 chip. That is a clear indication that smartphone would be now power packed with specifications as fast as the laptop.
HTC Edge as of now doesn’t include the connectivity through LTE speed but still users can make use of 21 MBPS HSDPA connectivity on board and hope that variants of it in USA will arrive as the time of its release is near.
