Tutorial to Update HTC Flyer with De Sensed-View Custom ROM:
- Before proceeding, you need to download the De Sensed-View Custom ROM Zip file from here to your computer and once it’s downloaded you need to copy the same to your device by connecting the device with the computer
- After this, disconnect the phone connected from the computer and enable the USB debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging” as shown in the below screen capture. After enabling the USB DEBUGGING Mode, you need to turn Off the phone so as to enter into the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode in HTC Flyer can be entered by pressing Volume UP Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. Please note that just in case if the device boots up in the normal mode, you need to again try entering into the recovery mode.
- In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the De Sensed-View Custom ROM which you have placed in your phone. It will take around 10 minutes for the whole process of update to get completed. Once the update process is done, the device will be landing up in the recovery mode. Now, select “++++ Go Back ++++” > “reboot system now” so that the device is re booted successfully.
Note: If the device gets in the boot loop mode then you need to again re apply the firmware by following the procedure again from the start.
