The conflict between Huawei and the US has been going on from more than a year now and after the ban imposed by the US Government on all the Huawei Smartphones, now Google has also officially suspended bunnies with the Chinese OEM. From now on there won’t be any update or support to the Huawei and Honor smartphones and the Tech Giant has discontinued any services that include its hardware, software or any other kind of technology.
As we know Huawei is the second largest smartphone brand in the world after the South Korean Giant. Even after not being in the US, Huawei has also overtaken Apple recently. With the move from Google, Huawei will definitely be affected by the ban and will also mean that Huawei smartphone will not be having access to the Google Play store losing all its access to other Google serves and applications.
According to Bloomberg Report, Huawei is said to have stockpiled chips and other important components which will be allowing it to run for the next three months since the chipmakers, Qualcomm, Intel, Xilinx, and Broadcom has also stopped supplying their products to Huawei until further notice. Huawei has also been preparing for this day and has designed its own chips for the smartphones and laptops
Trumps executive order to prohibit US businesses from using telecommunications equipment made by the companies which pose a risk for national security and made it clear that Huawei and its sub-brand Honor will not have access to the open source version of the AOSP also.
