Huawei has announced two new smartphones in China today which will be included in the Enjoy series. Dubbed as Enjoy 9S and 9e, these devices will come out of the box with the latest Android 9 Pie operating system. The Enjoy 9s will be available on Black, Blue, and Red color options while the Enjoy 9e will come in Blue, Black, and Gold color options. Nothing about global availability and pricing is known yet.
Talking about the specs of these handsets, the Enjoy 9S from Huawei will be coming with a 6.21-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with a water drop notch display giving a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. Under the hood, there is an Octa-Core Kirin 710 12nm SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It has a 3400mAh battery on the rear along with a fingerprint sensor.
It will come out of the box with Android 9.) Pie operating system with EMUI 9.0 on top and has 24MP main rear facing camera along with LED flash and a 2MP secondary camera and 16MP ultra-wide angle camera. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera sensor and has onboard storage of 64GB or 128GB which can be further extended up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
On Enjoy 9e has a 6.09-inch HD+ display and comes out of the box with Android 9 Pie with the same EMUI on top. To power the handset there is a Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with 2GHz clocking speeds coupled with 3GB of RAM and PowerVR GE-class GPU. There is a 13MP rear camera sensor with LED flash while on the front we can find an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture size.
The onboard storage is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to 512GB via microSD card slot. This is a dual SIM variant that supports two nano SIM cards along with a microSD card. The Huawei Enjoy 9S is priced at 1499 Yuan (approx US$ 223) for the 64GB variant while the bigger 128GB variant is priced at 1699 (approx US$ 253) and is going for sale starting today.
On the other hand, the Enjoy 9e will be available for order from April 2 and go for sale from 8th April in China. The Huawei Enjoy 9e is priced at 999 Yuan (approx US$ 148).
