Huawei officially launched the new ‘G Play Mini’ in Italy. It has the same specs as Honor 4C which was launched in China earlier this week.; but comes with a different design.
The Huawei G Play Mini has a 5-inch HD IPS (1280×720) resolution display, 64-bit HiSilicon Kirin 620 octa-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot (up to 64GB). G Play Mini offers a decent 13MP Autofocus camera at the back with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity of the device includes Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 with OTG support. The battery has a capacity of 2500mAh and can be user-removable.
It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat based Huawei’s custom EMUI. The device has Dual-sim functionality with no 4G LTE support. Even though it offers same specs as Honor 4C which is priced at $130 (approx), the G Play Mini is priced at €229 ($254). We can expect it to launch in other European countries in the coming days.
