The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei has been highly successful this year. Huawei came up with innovations, and the outcome of it was fruitful for the company as it has now become the largest Chinese manufacturer and also ranked as the third largest smartphone manufacturer globally. Today, the company has launched a new smartphone dubbed as Huawei G7 Plus in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The device comes with high-end specifications and is the successor of Ascend G7 that launched last year.
Regarding specs, the Huawei G7 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) FHD display with 2.5D arc glass protection on top of it. It is powered by Snapdragon 616 64-bit Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB. The device sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and dual tone LED flash. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for selfie lovers.
The smartphone sports a metal body and also features a fingerprint scanner for enhanced security that can unlock the device in just 0.5 seconds. Connectivity options on the dual sim capable device include like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The handset comes backed by a 3000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 320 minutes of talk time and upto 300 hours of standby time. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 out of the box with guaranteed upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow by the end of February 2016.
The smartphone will be available in colors- Silver, Gray, Gold and is priced at HK$ 2,980 (approx $385/Rs. 25,500) in Hong Kong, NT$ 12,900 (approx $398/Rs. 26,000) in Taiwan and 2,099 Yuan (approx $330/Rs. 22,800) in China.
