The Chinese Smartphone maker Huawei has officially announced its high-end Smart phone the Honor 6 at a press meet in Beijing. Huawei has launched many Smart phones in the recent past and is trying to build its name in the Smart phone market. We haves seen the company releasing the Huawei Ascend P7 recently and we also had the photo leaks of the Huawei Mulan on China’s variant of Twitter.
Now, describing about the smart phone it is packed in aluminum casing with a glossy finish that imparts unique shine and glow to it. The Huawei Honor 6 has 5.0 inch IPS (In-plane Switching) LCD capacitive multi-touch screen with 16M colors with pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It runs the latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Operating System out of the box and will have Huawei Emotion UI on top of it like most of the device from the company. This device is powered with 1.2 GHz Kirin Octa-core processor which is coupled together with 3 GB of RAM and uses HiSilicon Kirin 920 Chipset. Apart from usual connectivity options it has IR Blaster and importantly the CAT 6 LTE that will be supporting download speeds up to 300 Mbps.
This device has memory card slot option which expands the device storage space with the use of microSD cards. It comes with internal storage of 16GB and 32 GB variants and the internal storage can be expanded up to 64 GB. This device comes with both the cameras i.e. rear camera and front camera. The rear camera has 13 MP sensor with Dual-LED flash option and the front camera has 5 MP sensor which helps you in taking self-portraits.
As mentioned above, this device will be going to available in 16 GB and 32 GB variants. So, the expected price of 16 GB variant will be around 1999 yuan ($320) and 32 GB variant will cost around 2299 yuan ($368). The availability of the device is not yet revealed but we should know it pretty soon when it gets officially launched.
