Huawei Honor T1 Tablet With 8-Inch HD Display, 1.2 quad-core Processor Officially Announced – Specs & Details

Huawei recently announced a new Android tablet called Honor T1. It’s currently showcased on Huawei’s Hi Honor website, which was released a few months ago to promote the Honor brand internationally.

The Huawei Honor T1, the voice-calling tablet features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and 188 pixels per inch (PPI) density. It is powered by quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 1.6 skinned on top.

On camera front, tablet comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera (no flash), and there is a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for video calls. The tablet packs internal storage of 8GB that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Huawei has provided various connectivity options in the Huawei Honor T1 including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and 3G, apart from voice calling.

Huawei Honor T1 measures 210.6×127.7×7.9mm and weighs 360 grams. The 4800 mAh battery on the tablet is rated to deliver up to 300 hours of standby time.

According to the latest rumours, Huawei is about to launch Glory 6 Plus smartphone soon. The Huawei Honor 6 was recently certified by Chinese certification authority TENAA.

Honor 6 plus will sport a 5.5-inch display. There is no clear information on pixels resolution. It has a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Glory 6 Plus will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 925 processor. According to Huawei, its octa-core processor is the first in the world to support LTE Cat 6 data networks. The chip is made on a 28nm process and packs a Mali-T628 GPU and an i3 co-processor that handles sensor data. .The device will quite probably support 4G LTE connectivity.

Huawei has announced a global release of its Honor T1 tablet, which went on sale via an e-commerce website in Malaysia in late-September. The tablet will be available in markets later this month at an EUR 130 price tag.
