2015 has been a great year for the Chinese-based smartphone manufacturer Huawei as it introduced many impressive smartphones and managed to increase their profits quite significantly. The company is also ranked as the third largest smartphone maker in the world and is constantly rising. Now, the company is all set to launch a new flagship smartphone dubbed as Huawei Mate 8 the successor of Mate 7 on November 26th.
According to the leaks, the Mate 8 will feature a 6-inch Quad HD display and will come powered by all new Kirin 950 octa-core processor that will be unveiled on November 5th. The device is expected to come in two variants, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and the other with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It is also supposed to feature the Force Touch technology that was earlier used in the Mate S smartphone.
The device will sport a 21MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter for selfie lovers. There are also two leaked images of the Mate 8, one suggesting the metal body and the other showing sim card tray that is said to support two SIM cards and a microSD card. The smartphone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with guaranteed upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Mate 8 is expected to be priced at $520 for the 32GB variant and $610 for the 64GB variant. As the official launch date of the smartphone is not far away, stay tuned for more details regarding the device in coming days.
