Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 Tablet with 3GB RAM, 4G-LTE Support & Stylus Launched

Along with the flagship Huawei Mate 8 and mid-range Huawei GX8, the brand has also launched a high-end tablet called as Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 at the CES 2016 event. The tablet feels premium in hand as it sports full-metal body built out of aluminum alloy with curved edges and sandblasted finish. For enhanced sound experience the tablet has four speakers with Intelligent Power Amplifier, Clari-fi Audio Restoration and SWS 2.0 Surround Sound technology powered by Harman/Kardon.

Coming to its specifications, the MediaPad M2 10.0 features a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) Full-HD IPS display with pixel density of 224ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. Under the hood, it packs a 64-bit Kirin 930 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. The device comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM, 16/64GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB.

On the camera cordon, the tablet sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, autofocus and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the tablet include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support. The tablet also features a fingerprint sensor integrated directly into the physical home button and the high-end variant of the tablet also comes bundled with an active stylus.

The MediaPad M2 comes backed by a 6660mAh battery that the company claims can easily last for an entire day on a single charge. The tablet runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 out of the box. The MediaPad M2 10.0 with 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant comes in Silver color, and the 3GB RAM/64GB storage option comes in Gold color and will be available in the US starting the first quarter of 2016.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 is available in four different variants depending on the requirement of the customers. The Wi-Fi only variant with 2GB RAM/16GB storage is priced at $349 (approx Rs. 23,220) and the 4G-LTE variant costs $399 (approx Rs. 26,545). The 3GB RAM/64GB built-in storage Wi-Fi only variant with bundled stylus costs $419 (approx Rs. 27,800) and the 4G-LTE variant with stylus is priced at $469 (approx Rs. 31,200).
