The Huawei T8830 Android phone with the dual-core processor has been made available in China, and that with an impressive price of just $104. There’s nothing really attractive in the phone, but still if you decide to have a device that lies in between the mid and low range, the T8830 lies well under the budget. One of the similar devices with impressive features and pricing well under the budget was the Meizu MX2 phone.
Nothing more than the standard specs can be expected for that pricing, and thus the Huawei T8830 has got a MediaTek MT6517 processor clocking the speeds of 1.2GHz, and the screen is of 4-inch size having a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The touchscreen has a Gorilla Glass protection. To add to the decent processor, there is a 512MB of RAM. The T8830 is going to come with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
The rear camera of the phone is of 3.2-megapixel quality, and that’s where the T8830 lies behind many other Android phones for having not so interesting and impressive external specifications. Huawei has made several attempts earlier too, to keep itself involved and active in the market, and the T8830 is just one of those attempts but the company hasn’t included everything that a competitor device with a similar price range has got. We’ve seen quite many phones which have got a better camera for the same pricing, so Huawei wouldn’t see many buyers if they look for any International sales, but the attempt in Chinese market seems good as there is a vast user base and always a need of budget phones, where users are ready to compromise with one of the features when something else is good in the device.
All the basic connectivity options are anyways available, but we’re unsure of how much battery backup the T8830 provides. Though, it shouldn’t be a bad deal for the least 3-digit pricing figure. The phone is available only in the Chinese market right now.
