The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei launched the low-end Huawei Y6 smartphone in the Korea back in December last year. Today, the company has officially launched the Huawei Y6 smartphone in the Philippines and it comes with decent specifications. The pocket-friendly smartphone is priced at Php 5,790 (approx $121) and will be available for purchase online exclusively via Villman.com. The smartphone sports rich looks with round edges and chrome finished frame around the sides.
Talking about the specifications, the Huawei Y6 comes with a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 294 ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it powers Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz paired with Adreno 304 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 out of the box. The device comes with 8GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB.
On the camera cordon, the device features an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing for video chats and crisp selfie images. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 2200mAh battery that the company claims can easily last for an entire day on a single charge. The dimensions of the smartphone measure 143.5 x 72.1 x 8.5 mm weighs around 125 grams and comes in Black and White color options.
