While branded smart phone manufacturers like Samsung, LG are the popular with Galaxy Note N7000 and Optimus Vu respectively, Indian manufacturers have understood that consumers are looking for better and bigger screen display as well on touch supported devices. Indian consumers are more inclined to dual SIM phones as they want to diversify their personal life as that from the official ones.
Tailoring the large screen display device trend and dual SIM capabilities in phone, it started with HTC has first launched HTC Desire V and HTC Desire VC smart phones in reply to Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy Y Duos in dual SIM competiton, extending it to 4 inches displays. Yesterday it was Aqua 4.0 phone launched by Intex priced Rd 5500 and today it turned out to be iBall announcing the launch of Andi 5C in the higher end ranges of smart phones.
iBall Andi 5C
Andi 5C is the latest smart phone launched by iBall in the Android line of products by iBall. Promoted by Kareena Kapoor the Bollywood actress, this smart phone is in the large screen display smart phones. This is a 5 inches large screen display Android smart phone with IPS display screen. This smart phone is launched in response by the success of Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 and it will compete with Spice Horizon, Kobian Mercury magiQ, LG Optimus Vu, Wammy Note and Micromax A100 all priced in the same price range and offer similar features.
Its powered with 1 Ghz Cortex A9 processor good enough for the device to go with multi tasking thanks to 512 MB RAM. Spotted with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system which is the latest in the world of droids and this is with minimalistic user interface and introduces new features as well.
The device includes 5 mega pixel camera on the rear side which can be used for capturing videos at 720p and go with features like multi shot and panorama picture capture extending the camera capabilities. It also includes the front facing VGA camera which can be used for face to face video calling over 3G network.
