A new Android smartphone from iBall has just been listed on the online store eBay, and although there is no official launch of the smartphone done by the company, the phone is already available and it is priced at Rs. 7,395.00. The Andi series smartphone, iBall Andi4.5-K6 comes with a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen and it’s the qHD display, with the screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Designed neatly and available in the Special Wine with Chrome and White with Chrome colors, this smartphone is to compete with several mid-range smartphones with the dual-core processors and the similar specifications, from brands like Micromax, Spice, Intex and a few others.
The internal powering in the iBall Andi4.5-K6 is provided by the 1.3 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor, and there is a support by the PowerVR SGX544 GPU and there is a 1GB DDR2 RAM too included for the multitasking support. Running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the smartphone has the Dual-SIM connectivity with the GSM + GSM networks and it supports the 3G connectivity with the other several options.
There is an 8-megapixel rear camera with the Autofocus and the LED flash, and the smartphone has a front camera for the video calling. The internal storage provided is 4GB while the user can expand it to a maximum of 32GB with the MicroSD card support. The actual free storage for the user is around 2GB as stated by the company. Apart from the 3G data network, the other options for connectivity given in the iBall Andi 4.5 K6 are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and the phone can tether data network via Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi direct feature too is provided.
There is no official statement about the availability of the smartphone from the other retailers, but one of the sellers on eBay is already selling the device, with the price tag of Rs. 7395.
