The next version of the Android operating system after Honeycomb, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich is under development, and one of the mobile devices with the same is just announced. The first company to announce the phone with the Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android is Sharp, based in Japan. Although Google would be launching the first device with the next Nexus series phone when Ice Cream is out, but still nothing officially is announced by them, and so Sharp takes the chance to announce the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich phone. It is the Sharp AQUOS PHONE 104SH which would be coming in the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2012.

What keeps the phone apart is the Internal specifications which are classy and makes the name high-end well prominent –

  • 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 dual core processor
  • 4.5 inch HD LCD screen
  • 1280 x 720 pixel resolution
  • Waterproof/Dustproof design
  • 12.10MP rear camera
  • 3MP front camera

The specifications are not the official word of the company, and things can change while the time moves on, but what we are sure is about the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, that would come in this device.
