India’s First ICS Android 4.0 Tablet iBerry to Launch in March

Ice Cream Sandwich tablets are much in demand and that where Ainol Novo 7 Paladin got famous. Coming in the news is that it’s the first Indian tablet with Android 4.0 called iBerry Auxus. iBerry a company unknown now has come up with Auxus AX02 tablet which will be powered with Android operating system and it will be with 7 inches form factor. iBerry also said that they will launch the 10 inches variant of this very soon once this tablet is out in the market.

Guess what the price of this tablet? You would probably guess it to be minimum of Rs 15,000 but this tablet beats the price of Rs 10,000 and it will be made available in the month of March to be available online or at retail outlets across the country. Every tablet will come with one year onsite warranty and this is where iBerry devides them from the cheaper tablets available in the Indian market. When we talk about cheaper tablet, it reminds of the big failed Aakash tablet. Aakash tablet, according to Kapil Sibal the HRD Minister of India said that it will be available for free to the students across a scheme.

Coming to the specifications of this tablet it will be powered with 1 GHz processor with dedicated graphics engine along with that it will feature 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, HDMI output and support for 3G USB modem to provide data connectivity. This tablet will be with maximum resolution of 800 x 480 pixels resolutions and it will come with multi touch for pinch and zoom function. It also adds gyro based motion sensor which provides better gaming support.

The big thing included in this tablet is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and it will be capable of handling up to 32 GB of expandable memory via micro SD cards. Also the handset will be with mini USB support for pen drives and other peripherals too.
