How to Install Suprimo Custom ROM Firmware in HTC One V

HTC One VOne V, one of the best smartphones from HTC can now be installed with the latest custom known as “Suprimo”. Just in case if you are relatively new to the term “Custom ROM” then we would like to tell you that the default firmware is called as “Stock Firmware” whereas “Custom ROM Firmware” is the one which is built by the third party developers. Please note that custom ROM is not developed by HTC Officially. The need of custom ROM firmware is that it enhances the overall user interface and also it comes with additional capabilities like more FREE RAM Space and many other tweaks.

To install this update, you need to ensure that your device is boot loader unlocked and also the device should be rooted before proceeding to the procedure. We have also shown the screen captures on how exactly this custom ROM firmware will look like.

Rooting Information:  For applying this custom ROM Firmware in your hTC One V, your device needs to be rooted and once it’s rooted the warranty will get void. The warranty can be reclaimed by re applying your device with the latest stock firmware. Pre Requisites:

  • Data in your HTC One V should be backed up ONLY with the help of below steps. Don’t use JTC Sync to back up the data as it doesn’t support the custom ROM firmwares.

SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log – Call Log and Restore
Images, Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

  • Your htc One V should be the International GSM version and should not be the network locked or a contract device. Minimum battery left in your device should be at least 60% so as to make sure that One V doesn’t get turned Off.
