A couple of Android phones from Intex have been spotted online, one of which was already detailed earlier by us – the Intex Cloud X5, and the Intex Aqua N2 smartphones, which were seen with the pricing of Rs. 4800 and Rs. 7900, on the official website of Intex, although the company hasn’t made any official announcement and we are not sure of any launch date of these smartphones. The Intex Aqua N2 is a 4.5-inch Android smartphone that comes with a FWVGA display, and some good internal powering for the budget price at which it is going be sold for.
The Aqua N2 is a Dual-SIM smartphone with the WCDMA + GSM connectivity with the dual standby, and the device runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The processor that runs the device is a Quad-core chipset with the speed of 1.2 GHz. The rear camera included in the device is of 5-megapixel quality and it comes with an LED flash, while there is a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera too included. The device being 9mm in thickness, weighs 121.6gm and it has got an internal storage of 4GB, and this can be expanded to 32GB with the MicroSD card support.
The Intex Aqua N2 comes with a battery backup of 1400 mAh capacity, and the connectivity options included with it are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The battery capacity can be a point of concern because the Intex Cloud X5 with a smaller screen and a dual-core processor had a 1500 mAh battery included, but a quad-core processor and a larger screen should have asked for a better battery capacity.
The Aqua N2 is already available online on the official Intex website, but the company might be launching the device with more availability options very soon. FOr now, the price that is shown is Rs. 7900, the range where several low-to-mid range smartphones are available as a choice.
