After launching Aqua Turbo 4G earlier this year, Indian smartphone maker Intex has launched yet another smartphone in its Aqua series called the Aqua Power II with a massive 4000mAh battery priced at Rs 6,490. The company claims that the powerful 4000mAh battery can deliver upto 15 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time.
“The Aqua Power 2 is yet another development in the power-packed category of Intex Mobiles. We have customized our offerings and have loaded it on an Android Lollipop 5.1 OS for smoother functioning,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies.
Aqua Power II features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display and comes powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage, and microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
It sports a 5MP rear camera with auto-focus, LED flash, and a 2MP front-facing shooter. The device has dual sim dual standby support and connectivity options on the device include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0. The Aqua Power II runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop and also comes with many pre-installed apps like Myntra, Quikr, Clean Mater, Intex Play, Intex Service, I Store, Chaatz, Skype, and NewsHunt.
The dimensions of the device measure 146 x 74 x 10.3 mm thick weighing around 152 grams. It will be available in three colors- Black, White, and Champagne and can be purchased through online and offline stores across India. Aqua Power II will be a good competitor for the likes of Karbonn Aura 9 and recently launched Canvas Juice 3 that boasts similar 4000mAh battery.
Recently, Intex launched its first female-centric device called Aqua Glam that comes in Pink and Champagne color studded with Swarovski crystals around the frame. It has 8MP front and rear cameras and is priced at Rs. 7,690.
