Intex has launched a new smartphone in its Aqua Series dubbed as Aqua Slice II. The new Aqua Slice II is a budget smartphone priced at Rs.5,999 and is listed on the company’s official website. The listing of the device does not reveal the exact availability date, but we can expect the device to arrive on the market shortly.
The device features a 5-inch (720x1280p) HD IPS display and comes powered by Spreadtrum (SC7731) quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage and microSD card for expansion upto 32GB.
It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie clicks. The rear camera of the device comes with some pre-defined modes like Best Shot, Panorama, Geo-tagging, smile shot, and HDR. It has dual sim dual standby support, and as far as the connectivity is concerned it includes 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0.
Aqua Slice II comes packed with a 2000mAh battery that delivers upto 7 hours of talk time and upto 300 hours of standby time, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the device measure 141 × 71.9 x 8 mm and weighs 97 grams and the Aqua Slice II will be available in colors- Black, Blue, and White.
A quick recall, Intex has recently launched Aqua Turbo 4G with 4G-LTE support and other entry-level specifications priced at Rs.7,444. The Aqua Turbo 4G flaunts a 5-inch 720p display and comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz backed with 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage and microSD card support for expansion upto 32GB. It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front snapper. It has dual sim support with 4G-LTE connectivity and other basic connectivity options. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, and it comes packed with a 3000mAh battery.
