With the festive season around, Intex has been launching smartphones aggressively in the Indian market. Now, Intex has launched two new smartphones in its Aqua series dubbed as Intex Aqua Super and Intex Aqua Air. The Aqua Super comes with mid-range specifications and is priced at Rs. 10,990. On the other hand, Aqua Air is an entry-level device and is priced at Rs. 2,999. Both the smartphones are now listed on the company’s official website and will soon be available in the market.

Intex Aqua Super
The Aqua Super features a 5-inch (1280 x 720pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 320ppi. It comes powered by MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz coupled with 3GB RAM, 16GB storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB. The handset comes backed by a 2150mAh battery that can last upto 6 hours of talk time and upto 250 hours of standby time.
The device sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter to capture perfect selfie images. Connectivity options on the dual sim capable smartphone include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The smartphone also features Smart Wake Up, Gesture Sensing, HotKnot and also comes with lots of pre-loaded apps like Clean Master, Newshunt, Chaatz, OLX, Skype, Opera Mini, Hike, and Saavn.
On the software front, the device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the handset measure 144 x 75.2 x 7.65 mm weighing around 130 grams and will be available in colors- Grey, White, Black and Champagne.
Intex Aqua Air
The Aqua Air flaunts a 5-inch (480 x 800pixels) FWVGA IPS display and under the hood it comes powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM, 8GB built-in storage that can be further expanded upto 32GB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
On the camera front, the device sports a 2MP primary snapper with LED flash and a 0.3MP front shooter for video calling and selfie images. Connectivity options on the handset include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The smartphone boasts a 2300mAh battery that can last upto 8.5 hours of talk time and upto 300 hours of standby time. Its dimensions measure 145.5 x 72.8 x 10 mm weighs around 150 grams and is available in colors- Black, White, and Champagne.
