Today, Intex has launched a new budget Android smartphone called the Aqua V2. Intex has listed the Intex Aqua V2 on its website.
The Intex Aqua V2 features a 3.5-inch HVGA display with 320×480 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz single core Spreadtrum (SC7715) processor along with 256MB of RAM. It includes 104MB of inbuilt storage and is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support.
On camera front, the smartphone sports a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Intex has provided various connectivity options on the Aqua V2 including Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3G. It packs a 1300mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 6-8 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time.
The Aqua V2 also includes sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The handset comes preloaded with some apps such as Intex Zone, Opera mini, Intex Play, OLX, Intex care, and Flipkart among others. The smartphone measures 116.8×60.8×10.6mm, weighs 112 grams and will be available in Black, Brown, and White colours.
Earlier this month, Intex had launched its new smartphone Aqua Power. Intex has included a mammoth 4000 mAh battery in the phone that is rated to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time.
Intex Aqua Power comes with 5-inch FWVGA display. The smartphone is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The phone also features 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and dual-SIM support. Despite packing in a huge battery, the phone is quite slim at 9.3mm. Intex claims that the phone can be fully charged in 2.5 hours.
Intex Aqua V2 has been priced at Rs. 3,090. There is no official word yet about the availability of the new smartphone.
